The cast and crew breathed a collective sigh of relief (and exhaustion) today after completing Funke Akindele’s remaining six scenes. The day was spent at a mechanic’s village where Kelani dodged discarded car parts to find the perfect location for the pivotal danfo accident scene.
To construct the accident scene, the crew tipped over the danfo that the production has been renting and cracked the windshield, which was later quickly repaired by mechanics from the village. Titi Ogundipe (Make-up) liberally applied fake blood to the extras as well as the set, and the cameras rolled for Funke Akindele and Ayomide Abatti’s last scene together.
Just as the sun began to descend, Kelani yelled, “It’s a wrap!” We will begin shooting scenes with Wole Ojo (as Kashimawo) and Tamilore Kuboye (as Dolapo) tomorrow morning.
