This afternoon, I joined the 25-person crew on their journey from Lagos to Abeokuta. Despite a vehicle mishap, we arrived at our destination in time for a delicious supper of eba and efo riro, followed by a dinner of pomo alata suesue courtesy of Mainframe Productions.
I could feel the anticipation building on set when Kelani declared that Ma’ami is “the largest-scale that I’ve ever done. This will be a big deal!”
Tomorrow, all the crew will be concentrating on the production meeting, location inspection, and equipment test. The make-up and wardrobe managers are expected to arrive tomorrow, followed by Funke Akindele (as Ma’ami) by Friday.
